Due to the short holiday week, there is no homework. We hope everyone has a very happy Thanksgiving!

They will be taking a test on the skeletal system the week of December first. I will have an answer key on my website with the song "Name Those Bones". PTSO is sponsoring our first Fun Run "RUN DEVIL RUN" Friday November 21st at the Elementary and Middle School levels! The benefits of the PTSO organizing the event rather than hiring an outside company is all proceeds earned go directly back to the school. This has the potential to be our most successful fundraiser of the year! Pledge forms went out Monday November 10th. Students at the Elementary School who turn in their pledge forms by Friday November 14th will be entered into a raffle to join Mrs. Mendoza as Principal for the Day. If you are interested in volunteering for Fun Run, the Run Devil Run committee has set up an address to sign up genius.

The 3rd graders in Ms. Heese's class have began to study the 4 main layers of the earth this week in project group. This unit requires constructing a 3D model of the earth at home. Details came home with your student today. I can't wait to see what our students create! The project is due November 17th! The 3/4 summative will be held on November 20th from 5:30-7:00 Everyone is encouraged to attend. We can't wait to show you all of the wonderful things the students have been learning!
