Field Trip:We wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of the parents that volunteered to chaperone our field trip to the Science Center today. We couldn't have done it without your help!
Mug Exchange: Please remember that we are asking that students bring in their new & washed mugs and hot chocolate items (hot chocolate, marshmallows and candy canes) by Friday. We will be having our exchange on Tuesday, December 18. We are also in need of hot water dispensers and volunteers to assist with serving the hot chocolate. If you are interested in helping or have a dispenser we could use, please contact Mrs. Tomasik at [email protected]. Just another reminder that we are headed to the Arizona Science Center on Wednesday, December 11. Students will still need to wear their uniforms and will need to bring a sack lunch. We ask that you send in disposable bags rather than their lunch boxes. The buses will be leaving at 9:15. Thank you!
Boosterthon Fun Run
Today is our last day to collect pledges and tomorrow is the Fun Run! Students received a shirt to wear during the run tomorrow where we will keep track of the number of laps they ran. Students must wear tennis shoes in order to participate. An envelope was sent home yesterday for collecting money as well. Just a friendly reminder about our upcoming field trip to the Arizona Science Center on December 11th. Please have the students bring a sack lunch to enjoy during the trip. If you are chaperoning, you will please need to provide your own transportation due to the amount of volunteers. Thank you very much!
Our school canned food drive was a great success! The ¾ cluster brought in the most cans so they have earned a pizza party! Great job! The students will be given 2 pieces of pizza during lunch on December 17th. Students will need to provide their own drink. Thank you! We will be having a mug exchange on Tuesday, December 17th. We ask that each child bring in a new and unused holiday mug to exchange with another student in the cluster. Please return the mug in the brown bag that was attached to this notice. (Remember that this is an EXCHANGE. Students will be coming home with a DIFFERENT mug.)
We will need some additional items as well. If your child’s last name begins with: A-N bring a box of hot chocolate O-S bring a bag of marshmallows T-Z bring a box of mini candy canes Please bring the items above by December 13. *If you would care to volunteer during this time, please contact Mrs. Tomasik. We will also be in need of hot water dispensers for this day in case you have one we could borrow! We have been working very hard and are very excited for our first summative of the year! Please mark your calendars for summative tomorrow, December 3rd. Third graders will meet from 5:00-6:00pm and fourth graders will meet from 6:00-7:00 pm.
